The Company Overview:

Butler rose are partnered with a leading finance shared service centre based in North Manchester. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a company which has been operating for 100 years demonstrating excellent longevity.

Due to a backlog of invoices, they now have a requirement for Purchase ledgers to process and post invoices as well as work closely with the finance team.

My Client now have an URGENT requirement for Purchase Ledger clerks and as a result, you will need to be either immediately available or available at short notice.

This is a temporary position months) working in the office 5 days a week.

Your new role as Purchase Ledger Clerk:

Your duties will include:

Processing invoices on a timely and accurate fashion

Supplier reconciliations

Raising supplier rebate invoices

Completing BACS run for supplier payments.

Receipting, processing and posting of DTP (central) related invoices on a timely basis.

Raising, processing and posting recharge invoices on a timely basis.

Supporting the completion of monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.

Aware of audit procedures and comply with any stipulations relating to the department.

The Experience & Qualifications Required:

Working experience with SAP is essential

At least 1 years' experience as a Purchase Ledger

Previous experience working in a Finance Shared Service centre would be ideal

Effective communicator

Customer focused

Initiative

Strong attention to detail

Able to self start and self-manage as little training will be provided

Some Excel skills

Vlookups and pivot tables is an advantage
