Key Responsibilities

  • Be an active contributor in PIMCO's European repo and reverse repo book including trading bilateral repo, sponsored repo, cross currency repo and structured repo.
  • Trade European shortdated cash instruments including government T Bills and bonds, time deposits, commercial paper and shortdated corporate bonds.
  • Assist the desk in building data analytics to help the optimization and scalability of short term strategies.
  • Continuously look to improve processes and drive automation.
  • Learn and stay up to date with the latest market intelligence and developments to apprise PIMCO's firmwide portfolio management team.
Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution demonstrating strong academic credentials.
  • Approximately three years of relevant experience working in a financial institution either buyside or sellside.
  • Strong quantitative experience with developing, modifying, and using empirical investment models to analyze, compare, and contrast a diversity of market data and economic variables.
