This is a rare opportunity for someone with a solid range of bookkeeping skills who seeks a flexible working week.

My client is a provider of business advisory & accounting services to limited companies, sole traders and partnerships, across a variety of sectors including charities, manufacturers and service organisations.

Far from being a boring bunch of bean counters,this firm is relaxed yet professional, team focussed and supportive.

As their client base continues to expand, they are now looking to hire an additional person, who will offer support in the following areas:

Preparation of VAT returns
Selfassessment and corporation tax
Some "incomplete records" work
Advising clients on a variety of areas to enhance their business activities and profitability
Assisting with client payroll
Liaising with potential new clients

This role will suit someone with good communication skills & a decent level of Excel knowledge, who is looking to utilise their skills across a 25-28 hour working week.

Anything across the range of accountancy software packages, eg, IRIS, Xero, Quickbooks,etc, would be highly advantageous.
