Sales Executive

To prospect and generate new business by selling all of the benefits of the company's service to new customers in an enthusiastic, motivated and passionate manner.

The highly targeted role will assist and arrange new meeting bookings for the local Business Development Manager by being responsible for making out bound sales calls, updating CRM, generating new business leads and delivering a high service lead approach.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and generate own leads through an existing database of businesses/research and build a pipeline of potential new business utilising the company CRM.
  • Work and develop an existing database of prospects to win new business.
  • Call prospects by telephone to promote product/services.
  • Update CRM system with accurate data and activity
  • Discuss service offering with prospects to generate interest
  • Close new business over the phone
  • Accurately price customer requirements
  • Work closely with a Business Development Manager to bring on new customers
  • Schedule appointments for Business Development Manager to meet prospective customers.
  • Constantly communicate with Business Development Manager to ensure KPI targets achieved and maintained.
  • Prepare weekly figures to report
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of staff and clients.

Key Skills:

  • Experience working in a proactive sales role.
  • Proven track record of sales success with sound knowledge of sales processes and customer retention skills.
  • Able to present and communicate effectively with a strong focus on excellent customer service and relationship building skills with both customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to organise, administer, plan and prioritise effectively.
  • Ability to influence others.
  • Ability to take the initiative as well as collaborate with teams across the wider UK network.
  • Experience of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel and knowledge of CRM systems too.
