Working as part of the night hygiene team to ensure excellent standards of cleanliness are maintained, we are currently looking to recruit for a Night Hygiene Operative to fill a vacancy in the department.

This role involves working as part of the team to deep clean and sanitise the factory at night ready for the next days production.

Hours of Work - Tuesday to Saturday approx each day.

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures for completion of hygiene tasks
  • Deep clean down of machinery and production areas as per Standard Operating Procedures using power hoses and other equipment including chemicals
  • Completion of line wash downs in a timely and consistent manner
  • Buildup of machinery after hygiene work has been completed
  • Maintain a clean as you go area and demonstrate good manufacturing practice (GMP)
  • Support the need for change and actively get involved in continually looking for ways to improve performance
  • Help during changes on the line learning new skills as required
  • Comply with all company procedures and codes of practice to ensure a safe and hygienic workplace
  • Focus on attention to detail and maintaining high standards.
  • Other duties relating to this role
  • Experience in a similar hygiene or cleaning role
  • Knowledge of chemicals and machinery which is used in the clean down process
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to use your own initiative
  • Keen and willing to learn
  • Ability to work as part of a team
