Some Hybrid working is available, but this is predominantly an office based role.

Salary range - Band 4 (SCP

Annual Salary - £26,421 - £28,770

About the Role
We require a Tracking Officer to work alongside our highly experienced team of education professionals.

You will carry out tasks on behalf of the team including:

preparing and organising meetings, contacting settings on our behalf, fulfilling freedom of information requests and recording enquiries and statutory returns that are sent in to the department.


About you


The team works across a range of challenging scenarios requiring colleagues to be resilient and have a good understanding of confidentiality and data protection regulations.

You will need to be a good communicator, diligent and self-reflective. You will have good ICT skills and be able to balance and prioritise a range of different tasks.


You should have an awareness of safeguarding, will have experience of working in an administrative role and may have experience of working in an education environment.

Most importantly you will have a transferable range of skills that you can bring to the role, an ability to take direction and use your own initiative in a measured controlled manner.


About us


The Education of Vulnerable Children Service champions the right to education for vulnerable children and offers advice, guidance and support to pupils, parents and schools.

The service also fulfils Trafford's statutory duties relating to children who are not on a school roll, but may be educated elsewhere such as those who are home educated or attending an alternative provision.
