Location:
Coventry


Hours: 37.5 per week 5 out of 7 days - Monday to Friday.

Salary:
£23,000 per annum

Role Summary:


  • Process of Supplier Invoices and Credit Notes
  • Preparation of Supplier accounts ready for supplier payments
  • Reconciliation of Statements on a monthly basis
  • Liaise with other stakeholders to ensure queries are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the Control of the Purchase Ledger to provide an overall reduction in DPO and query levels for AP Ledgers within the business.
  • Adhere to Accounts Payable Processes.
  • Provide overall support to the Accounts Payable Team Leader with all aspects of Accounts Payable functions.
  • Adhere to all statutory requirement regarding fire, health, safety, and hygiene.
  • Participate in cross / multi skilled training within your department or other departments as deemed appropriate by your manager.
  • Carry out any reasonable instruction as directed by a manager [or Director]
  • Deal with all internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner at all times
  • Maintain a high level of dress and appearance at all times adhering to PPE where the role requires this.
  • Attend any training sessions as requested and adhere to all company regulations.
  • From time to time you may be required to carry out duties outside the normal sphere of work as may be reasonably requested by Management

Requirements:


  • The jobholder will be required to demonstrate a high level of Transactional Finance skills.
  • Must hold or be studying towards AAT qualifications.
  • High level of written communication skills, preferably in similar sized Company
  • Knowledge of the Lawson/M3 system would be advantage.
  • Highly IT literate with excellent attention to detail
  • Manage relationships at all levels in order to deliver a high standard of service throughout the business.
  • Desire to learn and take proactive steps to increase knowledge and show commitment to the business.
  • Good interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Confident in dealing with all external and internal suppliers.
  • Logical and rational in problem solving.
  • Innovative and supportive of team members ideas
