Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Office Administrator to cover our current staff members Maternity Leave. This Position will be for a Minimum of 4 month's with potential for extension dependant on the current situation.


We are family run business operating in road haulage for 40 years, completing nation wide and local logistics for a wide variety of customers.

the position will be in the admin team covering the below task's to help own own driver and customer's.


Duties:


  • Checking daily all signed paperwork to driver's manifests.
  • Coding and scanning these to our transport system in a timely manner to ensure they meet network deadlines.
  • Discussing any issues with our drivers and our transport team.
  • Running network reports to ensure all deliveries have been completed and paperwork uploaded where applicable.
  • Completing Excel reports.
  • Resolving driver, customer and network depot queries which arise.
  • Chasing outstanding PODs from other depots.
  • Any other ad hoc duties.

Requirements:

Previous experience of working in a transport office.

Good computer skills.

Excellent attention to detail as accuracy is paramount.

Work well on own and as part of a team.

Good telephone manner.

Working in a team of 3 but as part of a larger open plan office of 7 people.


Job Type:
Temporary contract

Contract length: 4 months


Pay:
£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
