As part of a nationwide consortium of Growth Partners, Coventry University is host to a regionally based team of Innovation & Growth Specialists whom you will join in offering impactful services to leading-edge businesses across the Midlands.

The Role

Based in the Midlands region and familiar with local networks, you will act as coach, mentor and critical friend to local business-leaders, a champion to those companies at the forefront of innovation.

You will help them to commercialise cutting-edge technologies, to grow their business and to achieve global success.

The Successful Applicant
A champion of innovation and growth with a passion for supporting business models for success, you will have experience in:

Developing successful strategies for achieving commercialisation, business growth and internationalisation across all types of business.
Helping businesses to become investmentready and being able to raise finance successfully from private investors.
Understanding and supporting the innovation process in businesses.
Supporting clients over a range of areas to assist their innovation & growth, including strategy, finance & funding, IP, market readiness, collaboration & internationalisation, innovation process and leadership.
A degree of expertise in one of the following will be particularly useful: Internationalisation, access to finance, innovation management and industrial.
Understanding of the business support landscape including support available both locally and nationally.
Identify innovative businesses with the best growth potential and to build longterm relationships with them to nurture their future development and growth.
