Description

This is a trainee role to become a driver & plant attachments installation fitter.

Operating out of Leeds depot you will be trained to deliver and install a wide range of excavator attachments at construction sites, mainly in the North of England but also in other parts of the UK.

You will also be trained to attend on-site breakdowns, prepare hydraulic attachments for hire and carry out repairs to customers attachments in our fully equipped workshops.

A prerequisite of the job is that you
must have a full UK driving licence to drive a van and trailer.

If you have a licence to drive a 7.5t truck it would be an advantage

You must enjoy being out on the road and have the ability to work on your own initiative.

Being flexible to start and finish times is essential to fit in the needs of our customers which may involve early starts, to get to sites, in remote locations, for the site opening.

You must be a self-motivated, organised and hardworking individual who will be trained to do the job without supervision. You will need to be physically fit as this job can be demanding and involve some lifting. In the long term we will fund you going through a plant mechanics NVQ

Salary:
From £11.50 per hour
