Albert Bartlett potatoes are grown across the UK from Cornwall to the north of Scotland and on the Island of Jersey and operates three industry leading packing factories in Airdrie in Scotland, Boston in Lincolnshire and on Jersey.

We also produce value add potato products in our Chilled facilities in Airdrie and Westwick.


About The Role
We are looking to recruit an
Intake Team Leader to our Processing site in Westwick.


As a Team Leader you will provide day to day management support to your team to ensure that they meet their objectives.

You will provide direction and focus for the Intake team and feed information between Intake team and site management.

You will lead your team through daily team briefings, on line coaching, solve work problems and participate in the work of the team.

You will be responsible for shift performance and KPI's. Prepare reports and maintain records, and any other administrative information as required. You will ensure the Intake team are trained to an appropriate standard and all procedures are followed.

Support the use of ERP in the area and ensure sufficient knowledge within your team to ensure the ERP system is continuously and accurately maintained.

Drive Intake staff to be proactive in making the most out of the raw material provided to the factory, including grading loads by hand whilst unloading and keeping relevant management updated with any potential upcoming problems.

You will provide support and expertise to all departments with a view to maximising performance, as well as any other duties as instructed by senior management.


HOURS OF WORK
Full-Time/Permanent.

Shift is continental 4 on 4 off days and nights rotating. 7am - 7pm or 7pm - 7am


LOCATION
Albert Bartlett, Station Road, Worstead, Norfolk NR28 9RX.


SALARY
£14.29 to 15.95 per hour

Our story began in 1948, when Albert Bartlett started our family tradition of selling good-quality produce by setting up a beetroot-boiling operation in Coatbridge, Scotland.
