Labour Hire is looking for a QUALITY CHECKER for a well-established company in GREENFIELD near OLDHAM.


About You:


  • Methodical and diligent in approach to work.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, with an aptitude for solving problems.
  • Proactive and flexible attitude.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Good attendance and timekeeping.
  • Ability to lift heavyduty profiles.
  • Be methodical and ensure a full quality check is completed on every structure.
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Have good communication skills, this role requires communication with the Powder Coating and Packing teams.
  • Knowing powder coating would be beneficial, but not essential.
  • Be proactive in recommending areas for improvement.
  • Full training will be provided; however, this may have to be completed on a shift pattern that differs from your own.

About the role:


  • 2 shift patterns available:
  • Monday Thursday 1:45 pm 10:00 pm, Friday 12:30 pm
  • 7:30 pm or
  • Monday
  • Thursday 9:45 pm 06:00 am, Friday 7:15 pm02:15 am.
  • Rate: £12.10£13.20 per hour, depending on a shift pattern
  • Ensure all parts are fully inspected for accuracy, size, colour, and quality before they are kitted up into the associated bundle and labelled.
  • Be customer focused, and report all quality issues to Supervision.
  • To adhere to Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • To ensure a clean and tidy working environment at all times.
  • Be flexible as this role will require you to support the packing team from time to time.
