This is a great opportunity to join the UK Committee for UNICEF (UNICEF UK) as a Communications Executive, providing proactive and effective administrative for smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the UNICEF UK Media Relations team.

This role acts as the first point of contact for most media enquiries to UNICEF UK. You will specifically provide support to the Head of Media Relations and to the Media Relations team.

You will need to be highly organised and enjoy working as part of a large and busy team that deals with internal and international colleagues, external stakeholders, high profile individuals and media publications.

You will need to demonstrate flexibility and the ability to adapt to working in new scenarios.

You must be able to manage conflicting priorities, whilst demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to present information clearly and confidently.

You should be skilled at dealing efficiently with enquiries from external contacts, including at senior level, and managing tricky enquiries.

We are gradually moving back to our offices on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, East London and we anticipate most colleagues will work one or two days a week in the office and the rest of the time from home.
