Working at one of Europe's largest shopping centres, we are currently looking for an experienced CCTV Controller.

Job Overview

To protect our customer's property, people and/or assets by providing security services in direct accordance with the sites published Assignment Instructions (AI's) and any subsequent changes.
Delivering results that meet and / or exceed the Key performance indicators / Service Level Agreement for the customer through full responsibility and accountability, providing a service that aids in the retention of the contract.
To undertake additional training to ensure continuous selfdevelopment.

Main Duties

Managing high levels of incoming and outgoing telephone calls to both clients and branches.
Utilise software to ensure the required monitoring and compliance standards are met.
Work as part of a monitoring team liaising with different branches nationally.
Follow correct procedures for incident reporting and real time monitoring.
Work as part of a team, communicating effectively with team members and others.
To carry out work in a safe and diligent manner and also comply with all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
To undertake additional duties in line with management requests as required.
Comply with ISO 27001 standards and procedures.
Meeting individually set KPIs.
Stay current with system information, changes, and updates.

Training

Fully and satisfactorily complete all required competency training.
To undertake additional training to ensure continuous selfdevelopment as directed by the Security Account Manager.
Use technology to achieve key work objectives and develop job knowledge and expertise through continual professional development.
You are required to ensure you renew your licence 16 weeks before expiry.

Security and Health & Safety

Look out for, and to immediately report, any Health & Safety hazards, or potential hazards, on site.
Stay alert to any threats or changes within the work environment in order to take the appropriate action to reduce the chance of disruption, loss or damage.
Use common sense and initiative by immediately involving others if a situation appears to become threatening.
To maintain professional conduct in the face of difficult situations and challenging customers.
Complete an accurate, detailed notebook entry as soon as possible after any incident, which can then be used as part of the Incident Report process.
Keep to schedules and demonstrate commitment to Mitie and the Client.
To ensure check calls are being carried out at the allocated time slot as stipulated in the Assignment Instructions (AI's).
To call emergency services and Communication Centre to report all incidents.

What we are looking for

Applicants must have a 5year checkable history (Essential)
Previous Security Experience within a Control Room Environment (Essential)
SIA CCTV Licence (Essential)
You must successfully pass a PSNI check as per BS5979 and BS7858 screening as per industry standard.
Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
Ability to manage workload to meet team deadlines.
A willingness to learn and develop and show high level of commitment and professionalism.

£12.75 per hour - 4 on 4 off basis (including nights, weekends and bank holidays)
