We have an opportunity for a Business Support Administrator to join our client's Offshore Infrastructure Department, based in Aberdeen, on a 15-month fixed term contract.
The Department provides onshore and offshore Classification and Verification services to the oil and gas industry, management and safeguarding of documentation are key.
Experience working in the Oil & Gas sector is advantageous.Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assist with maintaining filing systems.
- Assisting with organising teambuilding events.
- Ordering PPE & updating PPE register.
- Support and arrange new staff inductions within the Section in conjunction with Human Resources and ensure that new staff receive all relevant training.
- Logging and accurate recording of project documents and drawings into systems or as per specific project requirements.
- Filing of documentation as per specific project.
- Monitoring budget and performance.
- Responsible for Internal and external invoicing.
- Provide administrative support to Discipline Engineers/Project Managers.
- Sending out feedback forms to clients, ensuring followup to collect feedback.
- Assistance with bid and proposal preparation, which may require compilation of company data, printing and binding of documentation and dealing with couriers to ensure timely delivery of bid documentation.
- Organise and attend Client events to promote good client relationships.
About You:
The successful applicant will have demonstrable experience in a support-based role, in a busy department. Exceptional IT skills and ability to use Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Share Point and Visio with ease. You must be organised and able to communicate at all levels effectively. Have a positive and flexible attitude in your work approach.
You must be able to work well within a team, but also have the initiative to work on your own, with little supervision.
The workload is very varied, you must be eager to take on diverse tasks and happy to work in a dynamic environment.
Location - Aberdeen
Type - 15-Month Fixed Term Contract - with the possibility of extension
Hours - Monday - Friday, hybrid option available, 2 days in the office
**Salary - £19-25K DOE + workplace benefits
