Our well established Client is looking for full time experienced Payroll Processor's based initially at Spalding for the first month, they will then move to a Hybrid working model.

Role and Key Responsibilities

  • To provide accurate and timely processing of payrolls for a number of clients including:
  • You will manage your assigned clients, delivering payrolls as required and as per letter of engagement (LoE).
  • You will ensure payroll managers are kept informed of any and all significant client issues, including complaints and opportunities as they arise.
  • You will actively support and assist the assistant payroll manager to develop team members (processors and trainees) including regularly reviewing their work to ensure that client requirements are actioned.
  • Maintaining a high standard of client service and compliance within all relevant payroll legislation.
  • You will take steps to ensure that all work is completed efficiently, and that administration and records are up to date, in line with agreed procedures.
  • Demonstrate exemplary communication skills, ensuring the flow of relevant information between clients and the bureau.
  • Dealing with all client queries, you will proactively fulfil client requirements and expectations, ensuring that relevant queries are escalated, and that action is taken to resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Be fully conversant with relevant technology and adhere to our standard operating procedures (SOPS), systems and inhouse software.
  • Actively supervising the work of the team; you will coach and assist where required to develop your service line's skills and understanding.
  • Take steps to ensure that any areas for improvement and development across all areas (team members, process efficiencies and systems) are effectively highlighted.
  • Working collaboratively and cohesively, supporting the team to ensure that all work is completed on time. You will work as part of the wider team to ensure the overall bureau service delivery is met to the highest of standards.
  • Take steps to ensure that all work is completed efficiently, and that billing procedures and records are in line with agreed procedures.
  • Ensure absolute compliance with all cyber and data protection rules/regulations (both internal and external).


For this role you will need to be confident in your abilities and be able to answer questions from clients in a professional and informative manner.

You will also need to offer advise to customers when needed over the telephone or face to face.

This is offered with a remuneration ranging from £20,800.00 to £26,500.00 depending on experience.
