TRP Services are recruiting for our rapidly growing client, Lisburn, County Antrim-based manufacturer of industrial and specialty products. We are seeking a TACK Welder to join our team in Lisburn, County Antrim.

Salary ranging depending on skills set & experience from £11 to £11.90 per hour (STARTING SALARY ONLY - THIS SHALL RISE AFTER INTRODUCTORY PERIOD)

FULL PENSION, HOLIDAY SCHEME

Performs welding and cutting duties in accordance with company standards and procedures.
Maintains a safe working environment.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Must be able to read drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
Must be able to follow safety procedures and regulations.
Must be able to work independently.
Must be able to work with various materials and alloys.
Must be able to perform all duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must have good attendance record.
Must have the ability to work overtime when required.
May require lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Must be able to stand for long periods of time bending at a bending bar or bar stock. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis.

Must have the ability to work in confined spaces such as a furnace or furnace house.

May require welding experience of up to one year or more.

Must be able to follow safety procedures and regulations as well as adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

If you had 1 years experience and could tack weld with some knowledge of assembly YOU CAN APPLY IMMEDIATELY..

Job Requirements

You must have at least 2 years engineering or manufacturing experience,
NVQ Levels 2 & 3 are preferred, however if you have the relevant practical experience in an assembly or engineering background you are considerable for the role.
Essential experience, to be familiar with electrical and hand tools.
Good understanding of fabrication.
If you are successful this position would be starting immediate (or within one week after the interview process)

DAY SHIFT ONLY
MONDAY to FRIDAY
