My client in
Bathis looking for an experienced
Band 7 Immunology Biomedical Scientist for a locum contract.


Job Role:

  • Monday
  • Friday
  • 37.5 hrs p/w
  • Be involved in all aspects of the department's operations
  • Take responsibility for the daytoday management of a small team of Biomedical Scientists and Associate Band Practitioners
  • Ensure services provided meet quality and regulatory standards required to maintain ISO15189 Laboratory Accreditation with UKAS
  • Lead and encourage a culture of continuous improvement with the support of the Quality Manager
  • Preparation, investigation, researching, draftingand review of SOPs, verifications, nonconformances, COSHH and risk assessments
  • Managing the participation in appropriate external quality control schemes.

Qualifications and Experience required:
-
HCPC registered as a BMS:

  • Relevant Master's degree (MSc), or Fellowship of the Institute of Biomedical Science (F.I.B.M.S),or IBMS higher specialist diploma, or relevant post graduate qualification with equivalent knowledge and experience
  • 3+ years BMS experience working in routine clinical Immunology laboratory
