Due to high numbers of patients, we have an urgent need for new team members to play a vital role in support of our NHS.

This opportunity to help the country through this national crisis will mean you will be classed as a Key Worker and as such you willbe provided a letter to access schooling and childcare.

We are looking for resilient and practical colleagues with a team spirit, who can work at pace in our healthcare environments; come and be recognised as one of those who are helping our NHS
Work as part of a friendly team to carry out various housekeeping duties in a hospital.

Your main aim will be to efficiently undertake cleaning tasks in the hospital, in accordance with the recommended standards and guidelines.


You will also:


  • Follow a cleaning schedule to ensure that the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained throughout the hospital.
  • Carry out various cleaning tasks, including preplanned rotor tasks and deep cleaning of infected areas and equipment.
  • Ensure that materials and equipment are maintained and used correctly.
  • Ensure that trust policies and standards are met at all times.
  • Assist in other domestic service tasks including the receipt and storage of linen and food deliveries, meal distribution and general upkeep of the ward/unit.

To succeed in this role you will need:

  • Experience in a similar role or environment
  • A focus on high standards of Health and Safety
  • To be self motivated, conscientious and good at solving problems
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The flexibility to work shifts, including weekends
