Commercial Flooring Installer

Based in Stafford

Full Time - 50 hours per week

Monday - Friday

Night shift

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Flooring Installer to join our team. As a Flooring Installer, you will be responsible for installing various types of flooring materials in commercial settings. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Duties:

Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas
Prepare subfloors by removing old flooring, leveling, and cleaning
Install flooring materials such as carpet, hardwood, laminate, vinyl, or tile
Use hand tools and power tools to complete installations including welding tools
Follow schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installation
Inspect completed work for quality and make any necessary adjustments or repairs

This role is based out of Stafford but working on a regional basis on site - travel will be required.

Use of a company vehicle is provided.

Skills:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills:

Carpentry skills for cutting and fitting flooring materials
Painting skills for touchups and finishing work
Proficiency with hand tools such as tape measures, utility knives, and welding kits
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Familiarity with schematics and blueprints for accurate installation
Experience using power tools such as saws, drills, and sanders
