RecruitAbility is looking for a Stock Controller/Purchaser to join their clients' expanding team. This is an exciting new role with a huge amount of variety.

The Role of Stock Controller/Purchaser:


  • Implementation of stock control for common components
  • Take responsibility for the purchasing process, to include goods in, quality control, reporting any discrepancies and following up late deliveries etc
  • Generate Purchase Orders using Sage 50
  • Maintain and strengthen existing supplier relationships, using supplier performance analysis
  • Negotiate with key suppliers to ensure the best prices and practices
  • Source new suppliers where necessary
  • Visit key suppliers and potential new suppliers both in the UK and abroad
  • Maintain required stock levels

To be considered for the role of Stock Controller/Purchaser:

  • A minimum of 2 years in a stock control or purchasing role
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • A full UK driving licence
  • The flexibility to travel nationally and abroad when necessary

The Package for Stock Controller/Purchaser:


  • Salary: £27,000 £32,000 (Depending on experience)


  • Hours: Monday

  • Friday 8am 4:45pm
  • Pension
  • 23 days holiday (excluding bank holidays)
