Description
Full Time Cardiac MRI Fellow

We are looking to appoint a full time Cardiac MRI Fellow for 1 year to join our highly dynamic Cardiac MRI team within our large tertiary centre.

The successful applicant will work within a multidisciplinary team providing MRI imaging using 1.5T and 3T MRI Scanners. This post is 80% clinical and 20% research.

This role will require you to work across two sites, the Bristol Heart Institute and St Michaels Hospital. The Bristol Heart Institute is a state-of-the-art £57m centre dedicated to Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, Cardiac Imaging and Cardiovascular Research.

As well as having high-throughput coronary intervention and an extensive cardiac surgery program, we are the regional centre for Adult Congenital Heart Disease.

We are also a tertiary unit for structural intervention and electrophysiology.

Currently we have an expanding TAVI service and are one of a few units in the country that have implanted Mitra-Clips.

We have acquired a new scanner at St Michaels Hospital to carry out Cardiac MRI imaging as the Trust has taken over management of the clinical research unit at St Michaels Hospital.

This new scanner will give us the ability to carry out more MRI scans daily.

We are looking for a committed and highly motivated doctor to run clinical cardiac MRI lists and report on clinical scans under the supervision of the specialist consultants.
