About the role:

We are seeking a keen and enthusiastic individual to provide high quality, coordinated personal assistance to members of the College Leadership team, such as Director of Operations, Deputy Director of Operations, and other key strategic leadership roles.

This role is critical in providing an excellent, high profile service to support the smooth running of the professional services teams within the College of Life Sciences.


You will play a pivotal role in the important interface between the College and our NHS partners and also between the College and other external bodies.

The post calls for high levels of efficiency, diplomacy, co-ordination and communications, coupled with advanced competencies in planning and organising.


About you:


You will have Academic or vocational qualifications (general education to A level, NVQ or equivalent) or substantial work experience in a similar role and evidence of working in a busy office environment.

We are looking for an individual with excellent IT skills including a full range of Microsoft office suite software and experience of taking responsibility and working independently to deal appropriately with unforeseen issues.

You will possess excellent planning and organisational skills, have great attention to deal and be an excellent communicator.
