An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Non-medical Endoscopist team as a Trainee Non-Medical Endoscopist.

Working within our busy Endoscopy unit you will undergo a 12-18 month training programme which will ensure endoscopy is delivered in line with best practice with an excellent patient experience at the heart of what we do.

There will be opportunity to enhance and develop your knowledge and endoscopy skills with full support from the wider team.

The successful applicant will train to become a JAG accredited practitioner and will demonstrate the skill set needed to join us in delivering expert care within this exciting and challenging speciality.

The role will require working alongside a supervisor/expert practitioner and you must demonstrate specific skills in disorders of the GI tract, including diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic techniques and subsequent management and follow up of your caseload.

The post holder will act as an excellent clinical role model and work to continuously improve clinical care standards in line with the clinical governance framework, assisting to coordinate aspects of audit in relation to both local and national criteria.
