The Department of Linguistics and English Language (LaEL) is seeking to appoint a Teaching Coordinator.


Working closely with other members of the professional services team to provide a high level of service and support to both staff and students, being responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks.

It is expected that initially the post will be responsible for Undergraduate (Part 2) teaching coordination, but will not be limited to this, and is likely to involve teaching coordination across both Undergraduate and Postgraduate areas, where required.


Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, time management and customer service skills are all essential qualities, together with experience of working in a busy office environment and expertise in relevant IT packages.

You should ideally have administrative experience relevant to the role.


The role is full-time, Monday to Friday inclusive, with the Department encouraging agile working and therefore the ability to work some of the time remotely.
