Contract Type - Open ended
**Part Time - 21 Hours Per Week
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant for the R(D)SVS Health & Safety Team.

This role provides the opportunity to support a wide variety of activities within a small but busy team working in the Easter Bush Campus.


This post is advertised as part-time (21 hours per week), with at least two of the days working on Campus.


The Opportunity:

Provide the R(D)

SVS Health & Safety Team with a range of administrative support, including:

ensuring new employees are provided with relevant health and safety information, providing support for health and safety committees (minutes and circulation of papers), maintaining an accurate spreadsheet of health surveillance provision, assistance with monitoring compliance with mandatory training and ensuring the Health & Safety Teams action list is kept current.

The R(D)SVS Health and Safety Team consists of the Health & Safety Manager and two Advisors.


Daily contact with Line Manager and the RDSVS Health and Safety Team as well as the UoE Health and Safety Department for support as required.


Your skills and attributes for success

  • Good, demonstrable administrative experience in comparable post,
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal),
  • Ability to exercise discretion, respect and confidentiality, Attention to detail.
