Commercial Broking Sales Manager

Location:
Bristol office (Hybrid / home working options available)

Salary:
£50,000 - £75,000, bonus, car allowance + benefits

The Company:

We are recruiting for a Commercial Broking Sales Manager in the Bristol area who has a fantastic reputation and impressive track record in development and new business and has experience working in the local area.

The business is a chartered fast growing independent broker who offer excellent progression opportunities with organic new business growth and a heavy focus on recruitment.

The Role
You will be responsible for income production for your office and region.

There will be a focus on yourself to develop your own account whilst mentoring and supporting the offices account executives and staff in order to achieve consistent growth of thebook.

You will inherit a small handful of clients to get you started.

Focusing on developing a strong presence in the local market you will have autonomy as to how you develop your sales pipeline, however managing and growing introducer relationships, networking events, marketing and cold calling will all be encouraged aspart of the strategy.

There is flexibility over the areas of business you go after in terms of industry and any specialisms. The brokerage have access to most markets with niche offerings available.

The business support growth and are committed to professional development so are willing to look at an ambitious account executive.

They can be either up and coming management professionals or individuals with leadership experience and the role and packagecan be tailored accordingly.

The Required Skills:

Ideally, we are looking for someone with a good track record in managing commercial clients in the local area

Experienced managing Account Executives would lend well to the role however, they will consider Account Executives looking to take a step up who have the local knowledge and experience

Acturis experience is essential

Knowledge in insurance across a range of commercial lines products

You will need good communication skills and telephone manner and be able to work in a fast paced and pressurised environment

Decisive and ability to decide on best course of action

Negotiation experience with the ability to use initiative

Good IT skills are required ideally
