Description
We're looking for a Highway Inspector to join our team based in Brixworth, Northampton to work as part of a team undertaking walked and driven safety inspections of the highway network including the determination of maintenance measures required to rectify defects identified.

Responsibilities
As a Highway Inspector, you'll be working within the Highway & Rights of Way Inspection team that sits within the Asset Management and Professional Services section of the Highways contract on both the West Northamptonshire and North Northamptonshire contracts.
Your day to day will include:
- responsibility for undertaking safety inspections on the highway network in accordance with the Highway Safety Inspection Manual and the "Code of Practice Well Managed Highways Infrastructure"
- manage your own programme of walked and driven inspections each month
