Building Services Engineer (Mechanical Bias) - Lewisham - 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday - 7am to 7pm

As a
Building Services Engineer (Mechanical Bias) you would be responsible for the design, installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems in buildings.

These systems may include heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing,and refrigeration systems.

Carry out preventative maintenance, respond to reactive and emergency faults as well as carry out mechanical repairs and cleaning of mechanical components and equipment.

Requirements:

Must hold a recognised NVQ Level 3 mechanical qualification
Experience in building services and knowledge of air handling plant and water hygiene is required
Experience in a Healthcare environment with knowledge of medical gases;
Previous experience working on a PFI contract is desirable
Good knowledge of large building water distribution systems
Good knowledge of Legionella L8 (ACOP) control and water maintenance
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
IT literate, with ambition for personal development
Must have a good understanding of health and safety best practice
