Bookkeeper

Waterbeach

£30,000-£35,000 per annum

We are currently working with a leading niche business, with headquarters in Waterbeach, who require a confident and capable Bookkeeper to join their small on site team on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Managing Director, and working with the support of an external Accountant, this role will see the post-holder taking responsibility for a wide variety of accounting tasks, including the following:

Credit Control
Processing Purchase Ledger invoices and credit cards
Posting sales invoices and reconciling accounts
Reconciling banks
Weekly/Monthly supplier payment runs
CIS returns
Vat return
Assist auditors / year end accountants

You will join a small, friendly team and need to possess a flexible and willing attitude, and will ideally have worked at a similar level previously.

This is an SME business and so the role is all encompassing.

You will be rewarded with a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as the opportunity to work from home 1-2 days per week after successfully completing the probation period.

This client may also consider those wishing to work 4 days per week.
