A fantastic new opportunity working as a full-time Property Support Administrator based in Bury. The permanent role has an excellent salary on offer, between £21,000 - £24,000 p.a.

Our client is a religious organisation located in Manchester who are committed to making a positive impact on local communities.

They are looking for an experienced Administrator to join their team.


Description

The key responsibilities of the Property Support Administrator will include, but may not be limited to;

  • Respond to and resolve queries relating to property matters
  • Respond to landlords and tenant queries and requests in a timely manner
  • Arrange and administrate the letting of properties through letting agents
  • Keep and administrate digital and paper records
  • Input data into compliance sheets
  • Draft correspondence and documents
  • Liaise with the Registry and Finance teams and outside contractors such as property agents, letting agents, architects, local authorities and utility companies
  • Arrange for contractors to attend properties
  • Conduct occasional visits to properties for routine inspections
  • Arrange for gas and electric tests and update asbestos register where required
  • Arrange payments of invoices and set up direct debits for properties
  • Minute meetings and prepare agendas as required
  • View and implement process improvement

Profile

The successful Property Support Administrator must possess the following skill set and experience;

  • Background in managing processes in property environment including managing lettings and dealing with utility companies and local authorities
  • Background working in a Not for Profit and Charities or Public Sector organisation desirable
  • Educated to A level at C grade or equivalent qualification
  • Good IT skills including spreadsheets, Word, and Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to use database and bespoke programmes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good time management
  • Knowledge of housing maintenance
  • Willingness to attend occasional evening and weekend meetings and events (with notice)
  • Holds a full UK driving licence and access to use of own car
  • Ability to travel to Bury
