Client Details
A great opportunity for a
QA Technologist to join a Leading Importer in the Leeds area. The business are known for their variety of product across FMCG, Stationery, Health & Beauty etc. Due to impressive trading figures the business is lookingto build out its Product team.


Description

  • Oversee all aspects of the product development and compliance lifecycle.
  • Assist Buying and departments with all technical aspects relating to the product range.
  • Keep up to date with a broad scope of product safety legislation, and ensure that all Far East suppliers are producing goods to the correct standard.
  • Approval, verification and transfer of design documents to Far East suppliers.
  • Support sales and retail customers with technical information when products are on the market.
  • Work with the QA manager to continually improve quality processes and the QA workflow.
  • Work with Buying departments on a productbased critical path to ensure that all product needs are met.
  • Meet project deadlines in good time.
  • Implement Corrective Action Plans based on manufacturing and customer feedback.
  • Oversee the Far East supplier base, and ensure that the correct ethical and social auditing requirements are met.

Profile

  • Computer literate with keyboard skills. Knowledge of office, excel.
  • Adaptable, flexible, energetic and enthusiastic with an open minded approach.
  • Willingness to work together in a team and help others.
  • Positive and proactive attitude to changing demands and priorities as required.
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Able to set own priorities.
