Accounts Payable Officer | £12.50 an hour | Openshaw, M11


Reed is delighted to be working with a prestigious client who is looking to recruit for a 6 month fixed term contract, for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer role to work on hybrid basis located in Openshaw with easy reach by public transport or car.


  • 37 hours per week Monday to Friday


  • Hybrid working

  • Monday and Thursday onsite (can be flexible on days)
  • 6 month fixed term contract
  • Car park available
  • Paid weekly

Requirements and what to expect

  • Prepare and input purchase ledger and general ledger and cashbook transactions.
  • Regularly reconcile supplier statements and debit card statements.
  • Liaise with and support other colleagues in Finance and across various other departments.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of systems procedures and policies for accounts payable functions to ensure documentation available to new starters/auditors as well ensuring adherence to company guidelines.
  • Perform accounts payable and general ledger maintenance.
  • Strong IT skills
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in the field
