Calling all Travel Operations Managers Do you have experience of managing an operations department within the Travel industry? Do you want to utilise your skills to make sure the operations department of this successful independent travel company go fromstrength to strength? My client is a leading travel company based Birmingham, they are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join them, working to ensure that effective methods are implemented so that the business runs to its maximum productivity,to ensure the smooth running of the Operations Department and assist in implementing new procedures and initiatives.

Experience within Travel Operations and strong leadership skills are essential. So if you have the skills we are looking for this could be the perfect opportunity for you


DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Conduct operational checks across Sales, Customer Service, Sales Support, Offline Support, Administration, Ticketing and Processing, to ensure that operation targets are reached.
  • Conduct monthly one to one reviews with the Operational Department Managers. Produce an individual summary review form.
  • Assist with the implementation of new products and initiatives.
  • Ensure the smooth efficient daily operation and running of the Sales and Operations departments.
  • Ensure the sales department managers are driving sales and motivating teams to meet targets and KPI's set.
  • Conduct daily operational checks on phones, systems and websites. Ensure the website is up to date with current and relevant sales messages. Ensure that the telephone messages and call routings are current.
  • Produce weekly and monthly statistical reports to include: sales, conversion rates, losses and targets achieved, for the current month, to date and comparisons YOY.
  • Implement quality management and regulatory compliance strategies.
  • Responsible for the GDPR compliance for all of the business. Conduct regular audit checks to ensure that the business is complying with current legislation.
  • Be responsible for the Company Car fleet, reporting of incidents, arranging repair and servicing as and when required.
