About this Role:
Beaminster St Mary's is seeking to appoint a Breakfast Club Assistant to start as soon as possible.
This position is to be worked across 5 mornings per week, between the hours of 7.30am until 8.40am term time only.
The key purpose of the job is to:
- Setting up the hall
- Providing breakfast for the children as specified by the school.
- Organising small games and activities for the children.
- Ensuring that the hall is left clean, and the equipment is stored away safely and securely.
- At all times ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to.
You should:
- Be able to build a strong and appropriate rapport with children;
- Demonstrate the aptitude to work as part of a successful team;
- Have effective communication skills;
- Be able to support children in their play, while maintaining the children's safety and following the school's behaviour guidelines;
- Be able to demonstrate good food hygiene practices and follow the school health and safety policies
