Are you an experienced deep hole borer looking for a new challenge?

Do you have a passion for producing high-quality machined components for the oil and gas industry?

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you with our client.

They are a leading provider of machined components for the oil and gas industry.

They have a modern and well-equipped machine shop with a mixture of CNC and manual lathes, deep hole borers and milling machines.

As a Deep Hole Borer, you will be responsible for:

  • Interpreting engineering drawings to customer specifications and producing components to the correct standards within the estimated production times.
  • Selecting the appropriate machine and tools required to manufacture components from engineering drawings, whilst working within the company quality procedures.
  • Ensuring housekeeping standards are maintained to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Machining experience within the oil and gas industry.
  • Experience of machining high grade material.
  • Experience of using deep hole borers.

You will also need to have:

  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change.
  • Problemsolving skills.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£30,000.00-£32,500.00 per year
