In-House Tax Assistant, Financial Services

City of London or West Midlands

Up to £45,000 DoE, + 10% bonus and benefits

Responsibilities will include:

Assisting with the preparation/submission of both corporation tax and indirect tax returns for UK&I.
Supporting with corporate and indirect tax payments across Europe.
Supporting with the preparation and submission of employment tax returns.
Assist with the preparation and submission of UK and overseas regulatory reporting.
Assisting with tax accounting/reporting for financial statements.
Assisting on other tax and finance projects, including R&D claims
Proactively supporting the team to optimise the tax compliance processes, controls and systems.
Ad hoc tax or accounting tasks to support the wider team as necessary.
ACA/CTA partqualified (or equivalent)
12 years' prior experience in a taxfocused position
Technologically proficient and comfortable working with Excel spreadsheets
The right to work permanently in the UK is required for this position
