Could you befriend and support a child in care?
We are looking for volunteers for our Independent Visitors Project in Worcestershire

Independent Visitors are volunteers who befriend and spend time with a child or young person within Local Authority care.

Our volunteers enjoy the challenge of building a lasting friendship and the children benefit greatly from a consistent, fun relationship with someone outside the care system.

This is a long-term, one to one commitment. Full training and on-going support will be given, and out of pocket expenses paid for mileage and activities.

We are committed to the safeguarding of children and where appropriate will require the successful applicant to undertake a check from the Disclosure and Barring Service._
