We are currently recruiting for a Linen Porter based in a busy NHS hospital for an immediate start. Full training will be provided.

  • On arrival you will be given a stock count sheet and a tablet (electronic). On the stock count sheet it will tell you how much is required in each linen cupboard on your allocated wards.
  • At the end of each cupboard there will be soiled linen which will be in a sealed back and need to taken to laundry, you will then be given more linen from laundry.
  • The weekly shifts are usually 6 days on and 1 day off.
Hours will be Monday-Friday 09:00-15:00

Informing you of Health & Safety practices As well as providing you with factual and detailed information about a vacancy, we will share with you any Health & Safety documentation/requirements that the end employer has provided to us.

Opting out of the regulations will have benefits if you decide that you want to be considered self-employed.

This will mean you will not be afforded the same protection as that of our PAYE workers but does bring you a step closer to being seen as genuinelyself-employed and therefore could be viewed as outside the scope of the IR35 tax rules.

If you wish to opt-out, you need to do so before your contract starts. To do this, please inform your consultant and sign and return the EAA opt-out form. Please note ifwe do not receive your signed form then your opt-out will be invalid.
