Description

Our client is a Global Tech Giant, involved in the research and development leading edge optoelectronic devices for the next generation of communications networks and is based within the Innovation Martlesham high-tech cluster of companies.

In this role you will be responsible for handling and processing delicate semiconductor material.

Main Responsibilities

  • Operating tools to process material through the applicable stage in the manufacturing process according to the standard required in SOP documents, meeting targets for cycle time and quality and ensuring safety guidelines are followed at all times.
  • Operating a variety of different types of Fab / Test Equipment optical vision systems, manual and automated devices as well as the use of chemicals.
  • Carrying out quality inspections, requiring strong attention to detail
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve quality, efficiency and safety with a focus on driving improvements to yield
  • Completing documentation to a high standard and collating data on processes as required
What we can offer

Monday - Friday; 06:00 - 14:00 followed by 14:00 - 22:00, rotating weekly; total 37.5 hours per week

£12.24 per hour, with additional overtime rates.

Rolling 12 month assignments.

The assignment is renewed annually based on performance, and it is expected that the person will join the team on a long-term basis (it is expected that this assignment will continue indefinitely).
