The key focus areas for the business is building out a Commercial Lines Underwriter Workbench solution.This Senior Director role is a senior leadership position within the Technology Consulting function and will primarily be focused on driving the success of the Underwriting Workbench propositions (although the role will also contribute to the broader Technology Consulting function).

Responsibilities of the role include:
- Working with the global proposition leaders to define the Underwriting Workbench solutions and the associated technology consulting and implementation propositions
- Enabling software and consulting sales of the Underwriting Workbench solution including:
- Leading the technology aspects of these highly complex sales opportunities
- Ensuring the right solution is defined for the client (including 3rd party components where required), and that the right technology delivery is scoped
- Demonstrating personal credibility with clients and WTW colleagues in ICT
- Driving successful delivery on client Underwriting Workbench engagements including:
- Leading engagement with senior technology clients during pre-sales, complex project delivery and ongoing relationship management
- Demonstrating personal credibility with senior clients to enable sales and manage relationships
- Ensuring successful delivery of complex engagements / projects by:
- Setting the engagements up for success
- Leading or participating in the design / architecting of the solution
- Managing key stakeholders
- Managing delivery from the consulting team
- Ensuring quality and professional excellence
- Managing contracting with the client
- Working with the Head of Technology Consulting to ensuring the Technology Consulting function is setup for success including:
- Providing thought leadership on how to shape and build the consulting function
- Influencing leadership in ICT (Regional / Divisional Leadership in Consulting and Technology Leadership) to ensure that the technology consulting proposition is integrated with the rest of the business, and ensuring that Technology Consulting is seen as a consulting peer to Insurance Consulting
- Acting as the point of escalation for issues and failures, both internally in ICT and with clients in the areas of assumed responsibility
- Joining fellow Senior Directors in Insurance Technology in helping shape the strategy for the business and meet financial and nonfinancial goals
- 15+ years' experience in a global technology consulting, professional services or client facing software organisation
- Deep experience in commercial lines insurance and underwriting solutions / software
- Proven ability to lead diverse, global technology consulting teams
- Proven ability to lead sales engagements in a technology consulting / software environment
- Proven ability to manage complex delivery projects and senior client relationships
- Ability to be seen as a trusted advisor
- Excellent stakeholder management capabilities
- Ability to transition between operating at a strategic level and in the detail. Being a leader as well as an individual contributor
- Relevant technical degree or experience preferable
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel where required
