he Role
Hain Daniels are currently recruiting for a Hygiene Operative at our Grimsby site. In Grimsby, we manufacture fresh soups for our New Covent Garden brand and for private label.


The role of the Hygiene Operative is to maintain high standards of hygiene and GMP across all areas of the factory.

To support production teams ensuring that both health and safety and food safety are not compromised


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that protective clothing is available at all times within the department
  • Complete standard cleaning tasks to C.I.C schedules as defined by the Hygiene Supervisor
  • Ensure that all tools and equipment are correctly cleaned following C.I.C procedure and are stored correctly
  • Complete all necessary start up checks and chemical checks as required
  • To ensure that the utility area's are cleaned to a high standard and to follow schedules and complete all relevant paper work, that is a requirement for BRC audits.

What you will need for the role / what it will take

  • Good literacy and numerical skills
  • Experience of working in the food industry is preferred but not essential as support and training will be given
  • Effective communication skills
