Job Purpose:
To provide administrative support to the Plant Manager and Maintenance Manager.
Role & Responsibilities
- Compile weighbridge reports for local authority and trade.
- Check for errors on the weighbridge reports and send daily updates to management.
- Send weekly reports detailing the weighbridge figures and any errors to local authority.
- Collate figures detailing incoming and outgoing waste.
- Manage and administrate weighbridge cards.
- Manage all plant technical documents (create and maintain filing system).
- Ensure to complete routine orders and any other purchasing requests from managers.
- Ensure purchasing is in line with the Company's Quality Assurance procedure.
- Collect, record and input holiday for all site staff.
- Collect, record and input sickness forms from all staff and liaise with HR team when sending these forms in.
- Attend and minute take at meetings including but not confine to liaison, management and outage meetings.
- Prepare and draft monthly manager reports and any other reports from time to time.
- Create and prepare Altair reports for Managers as required.
- Handle all incoming telephone calls appropriately and effectively.
- Build and maintain constructive relationships with clients, suppliers and colleagues.
- Ensure that any incoming queries are resolved promptly and satisfactorily.
- Filing.
- Report to the levels of management any contravention of statutory and NMOL safe working practices, this includes reporting accidents and incidents.
- Manage all incoming and outgoing post and/or couriers.
- The above duties are not exhaustive. The job holder may also be required to carry out other ad hoc duties.
Qualifications / Experience / Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills, remaining friendly and professional at all times.
- A food record of employee relations, including managing conflict and dispute resolution.
- Demonstrate good working relationships with managers and colleagues and contracting companies.
- Ability to work successfully as part of a team as well as working independently and using own initiative.
- Discretion and confidentiality is essential to this role.
- Experience in analysing and interpreting data.
- Intermediate IT skills, primarily in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Can do approach
- Wate to energy process and plant knowledge preferred but not essential.
