Description

Due to expansion a world leading manufacturer of complex machinery has a new vacancy for a Service Engineer to join the team.

Working as part of a large global network you will be responsible for the installations & maintenance, of machines at customer sites.

Salary:
£ 35,000 - £ 4 6 ,000 p.a. + bonus + excellent benefits

Commutable from:
Leamington Spa, Coventry, Stratford, Birmingham, Leicester, Redditch, Warwick, Northampton.

Suitable for:
Service Engineer, Service Technician, Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Electrician, Maintenance Supervisor, Plant Engineer.

The Role

The Service Engineer will work out in the field at customer sites, supporting both new equipment orders and existing contracts.

The key responsibilities include delivering high quality service, installations, problem diagnosis and preventative maintenance.

Key responsibilities include:
Maintenance and fault rectification of machinery

Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems

Replacing components

Produce reports on any issues

Installation and commissioning of new equipment at customer sites

Provide field training as required

Provide factory based support when not with customers

Ensure compliance with Health and Safety including risk assessments

Support and guide customers on the equipment to ensure get maximum use

The Person
The Service Engineer must possess a driving licence and be comfortable to travel to customers sites.

With previous experience in servicing, commissioning, maintenance, and installation of machinery you will have a recognised engineering qualification andwill possess a positive and supportive approach to customer engagement.

Previous experience training field personnel would be beneficial but not essential.
