JOB PURPOSE


To organise and provide high quality administrative support for the management, administration and delivery of the Warwick Business School's undergraduate programme.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administer and develop efficient office procedures, including maintaining manual and electronic files, lists, forms and other course administration information/questionnaires, ensuring that appropriate changes are made and that records are up to date.
  • Provide detailed information and assistance to answer both standard and non-standard questions on all aspects of coursework, procedures, regulations and welfare from undergraduate students based in WBS on the School's suite of single honours and joint honours undergraduate courses (>2000 students), exchange students (>100 students), and those from other departments taking modules in WBS (>2000 students).
  • Manage the operation of systems and procedures for the collection and marking of all undergraduate assessed work, inputting marks on to the MIS and releasing appropriately to departments and students, including the release of marks for exchange students to the Student Mobility Team.
  • Maintain student database records, monitor the collection of information, identify errors and deficiencies and provide statistical data and analyses relating to the Programme required by the School/University or outside bodies.
  • Assist in the delivery of key student events including WBS Undergraduate Open Days, course events and other student engagement activity.
  • Take ownership for key operational project activity and assisting senior colleagues with projects and work streams where required.
  • The post holder may be asked to work occasional weekends and evenings to support Undergraduate events.
