Chaplain for Staff Wellbeing - Bolton, United Kingdom - North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust
Description
At NWAS, we are excited to recruit to a newly established position of Chaplain for Staff Wellbeing which has been developed to focus on providing timely and inclusive wellbeing, pastoral and spiritual care support to colleagues throughout the Trust.
The postholder will implement the framework for the Chaplaincy Service for Staff Wellbeing as agreed by the Executive Leadership Committee.
At the centre of this framework is a is a 'hub and spokes' approach - with postholder being the 'lead chaplain' (hub) for the Trust, and then establishing and coordinating a network of volunteer chaplains (spokes) across the North West.
Reporting to the Head of Inclusion & Engagement, the postholder will be responsible for developing and managing the Chaplaincy Service for Staff Wellbeing, ensuring it is accessible and responsive to the needs of the colleagues and the Trust.
This is an incredibly rewarding role supporting our workforce so if you are passionate about supporting staff with their spiritual, pastoral and wellbeing needs, we'd love to hear from you.
You will be required to work in an agile way across the Trust footprint, however your base will be the closest Trust HQ site to where you live (Ladybridge Hall, Bolton | Estuary Point, Liverpool | Broughton HQ, Preston).
North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust provides 24 hour, 365 days a year accident and emergency services to those in need of emergency medical treatment and transport.
Our highly skilled staff provide life-saving care to patients in the community and take people to hospital or a place of care if needed.
We also provide non-emergency patient transport services for those patients who require non-emergency transport to and from hospital and who are unable to travel unaided because of their medical condition or clinical need.
Alongside the other emergency services, we also work to ensure the safety of the public and treatment of patients in the event of a major incident.
