We have a full-time position available for a Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly team based at Charing Cross Hospital at 37.5 hours a week.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is flexible, hard-working and uses their initiative. They also need to have a commitment to providing a first-class service.
The successful applicant will act as a nursing assistant in the breast screening and symptomatic clinics helping clinicians during clinical, and ultrasound examinations, biopsy procedures, and wire localisations, and acting as a chaperone for patients.
The post holder will be involved with both breast screening and breast symptomatic clinics, some of which are held in the evenings.
Our services are provided at Charing Cross and St Mary's Hospitals, so they will also be required to work at both sites.
We are looking for applicants with Healthcare Assistant experience within the NHS, who are now looking to further their career.
Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust's breast unit is one of the largest in the country.
The Trust incorporates five hospitals in north west London - St Mary's, Charing Cross, Hammersmith, Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea and Western Eye - and was one of the first academic health science centres in the UK.
The main aim of the role is to act as a nursing assistant in the breast screening and symptomatic clinics helping clinicians during clinical, and ultrasound examinations, biopsy procedures, and wire localisations, and acting as a chaperone for patients.
