Value Stream Change Delivery Lead - Solution Enablement

Just Group

Full time (35 Hours per week)

Hybrid, 60% in office (London based with occasional visit to Reigate office)

About the role


Reporting into Group Change Director, the
Value Stream Change Delivery Lead is responsible for delivering the Change Portfolio within a Value Stream to optimise returns on investment in change on behalf of their Sponsor.


As a member of the Change leadership team, they will role-model and lead a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team to dynamically deliver to agreed scope and timescales, taking a proactive approach to identification and mitigation of risks and issues affecting delivery.


They will work closely with the business, change and software engineering communities to understand priorities, develop business cases and plans and drive early and iterative delivery of business value.


The Value Stream Change Delivery Lead is the primary change leadership role in the Value Stream and is responsible for excellence in delivery.


Job role - Key Accountabilities
The principal accountabilities of the Value Stream Change Delivery Lead include but do not stop at;


Own and manage delivery of priority business outcomes

  • Partner with Sponsors and Business Product Owners to drive effective definition and prioritisation of business goals, outcomes, benefits, and measures of success.
  • Lead iterative governance and approval of all Change, underpinned by clearly communicated and agreed business cases, plans, benefits plans and cost forecasts.
  • Translate business goals and 'aspirational' plans into practical execution plans with evolving confidence and certainty levels as delivery progresses.
  • Drive the plan's execution to meet business priorities, using a proactive and assertive approach to find delivery risks, issues, and dependencies and find ways to deal with them.
  • Actively manage senior stakeholders and ensure transparency and engagement at all times.

Drive efficient and effective delivery with measurement, risk management, best practices, and continuous improvement

  • Establish effective delivery structures with clear roles, holding people accountable across internal and external teams.
  • Manage and optimise the backlog and flow of work in the Value Stream, supported by objective measurement, retrospective reviews, and proactive improvements.
  • Synchronise and align delivery roadmaps and plans to manage interdependencies between Value Streams and the business across the Group.
  • Identify and manage resource capacity and capability, partnering with the central Change Portfolio team.
  • Identify and leverage appropriate internal and external delivery standards and best practices to optimise project delivery and results.
  • Lead the identification and management of risks, issues, and dependencies and escalate when necessary.

Build, develop and lead the Value Stream delivery teams

  • Build, develop, and lead a resultsdriven delivery team with a proactive learning culture, bringing together subteams into an effective endtoend delivery model for working with pace, trust, transparency, and focus on achieving goals.
  • Develop and grow team members' capabilities and careers, providing onthejob coaching, training, and exposure to growth opportunities.
  • Line management of Change Team members, establishing a robust 'one team' structure with appropriate virtual delivery leadership structures for all people contributing to delivery in the business, and Just Delivery.
  • Support the development of communities of practice for roles across Change and crossvalue stream best practices.

About You
The experience, skills and knowledge we are looking for:

  • At least five years of change delivery management experience in an agile, multi-disciplinary, and complex commercial environment spanning both business/operational and IT change, ideally within Financial Services
  • Experience of building diverse teams and ensuring they work as one team with a common goal
  • Experience transforming organisations and embedding new methods, processes, and ways of working into teams
  • Broad experience with delivery methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, and Kanban
  • A strategic and longterm thinker, able to plan for the future while considering the current context to identify improved longerterm solutions whilst delivering on shortterm commitments
  • Robust and proactive expertise in problemsolving, being able to analyse, synthesise, identify trends, and logically structure information in a stepbystep way
  • Ability to purposefully communicate appropriate, concise, and accurate information at all levels to make timely decisions and achieve delivery outcomes
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and convince, along with negotiation and conflict management skills
  • A resilient selfstarter able to prioritise, work, and adapt
