Salary £26,195 - £27,060


This is an exciting opportunity to join our Early Years Team working in our 0-3's provision in a brand new purpose built thriving school and children's centre within a diverse and vibrant community.


In November 2016 we moved into a new building encompassing 0-11s care and education and promoting our ethos of "learning for life" for children, families and our local community.

We are looking to appoint 3 early year's education workers for our 0-3 provision.

We need someone who will work together with other staff to provide the highest quality childcare and education to ensure the best possible outcomes for all of the children and their families.


We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience of working with children under
  • Is committed to meeting the needs of the whole child and his /her family
  • Communicates well with others
  • Wants the opportunity to grow and develop and be part of the school's vision for 011s
  • Is reliable and flexible
  • Can show initiative and enjoy team work
  • Has sound knowledge of the best practice for caring for children under 3


This is a unique opportunity to work in Moreland School and Children's Centre in Islington which is a successful school working in federation with another local school St Luke's.

Both schools and the children's centre work closely together and serve the local EC1 community.

Moreland school had a good Ofsted in 2020 and we are looking for people to join the early years' team on our journey towards outstanding.

An enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) with barred list check is required for all successful applicants.

Also, this post is likely to come under the requirements of the Childcare (Disqualification)2009 Regulations and the successful applicant will be required to complete a declaration form to establish whether they are disqualified under these regulations.
