Would you like to work for an award-winning boatbuilding company based in waterside offices near Falmouth, Cornwall - the perfect destination for sailors, surfers and beach lovers? The Company cleverly integrates traditional boatbuilding skills with innovative engineering and modern techniques to build vessels of the highest quality.

We're looking for an organised, reliable cleaner
to start as soon as possible, working 12 hours a week, Monday to Thursday, 3 hours per day, between the hours of 7am and 5.30pm to help keep our sites maintained to a high standard.

The position would be working either early in the morning or late afternoon/early evening (when the working areas are quieter) Monday - Thursday.

Hours can be discussed in more detail at interview, and will be in the region of 3 hours per day.

We have a vacancy in Mylor Bridge or in Falmouth, however you would be required to cover holiday and sickness on occasion with the other cleaners to ensure all sites are covered (Falmouth and Mylor).

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Disinfect and sanitise the main areas, touch points and surfaces
Clean windows, using a step ladder if required
Clean & maintain kitchens & kitchenettes, to include all surface areas, as well as fridge, microwave, and other appliances
Empty kitchen/office bins
Clean & maintain bathrooms (toilets & shower)
Clean high traffic areas
Management of cleaning materials and equipment
Wash/dry teatowels and replace as necessary in kitchens/kitchenettes
Clean & maintain meeting rooms/ offices
Clean & maintain the door mats

Essential skills/ experience

Cleaning experience (preferably within an office/commercial environment)
Excellent organisation and housekeeping skills, with high attention to detail
Knowledge of cleaning solution and their uses
Working knowledge of health and safety standards
Ability to carry out physical tasks and work well under pressure
Ability to stand and clean for long periods (23 hours at a time)
Excellent interpersonal skills
Working knowledge of the English language

Desirable skills

Hold a current valid driving licence

Location
At our site in Falmouth, or Mylor, but must be able to cover other sites on occasion

Salary
£11.50 per hour starting rate
